The success of Teen Court is a reduction in crime as well as a reduction in the tax dollars required to dispose of formal charges being filed. The existing juvenile system does not have the means or the ability to address the growing juvenile rate with the assistance from outside agencies such as Teen Court. The entire community would likely suffer from growing crime, which adversely impacts the lives, safety and dollars of every citizen.
